The heated grips are configurable, through a range of settings. I wasn't a fan of the original seat, but ordered the Yamaha "comfort' seat as part of the deal. I have found that over the last 1500km's, the 'comfort' seat has gone from 'tolerable' to 'excellent'.

Yep, they come loose. I think it's an "undocumented feature".....*cough* Give them a decent tweak when tightening them and they will stay tight.

I have the factory fog lights and harness. I am a fairly 'picky' person, but honestly cannot say that I notice the presence of the switch at all. And it has to be asked....which is preferable? Having one switch mounted on the bars, or perhaps compromising the integrity of the original cluster?

What tyre pressures are you running? Squared-off can be an indication of pressures which are just too low. I am running the recommended 42PSI in mine, have a top case fitted, and have been running the panniers for the last couple of hundred kays as I have had some gear to cart around. I'm no...

What is the wiring configuration on the system? I seem to recall something about negative switching. That will catch you out if that is the case.

Hey mate, glad you enjoy your new ride. I was very surprised with the triple - and that was coming from an FJR1300! It's a peach of an engine for sure.
