HI iam looking into running the mt09 in the streetfighter class next year, i will not need the headlight, indicators, rear lights indicators, full street rally kit incl brackets and seat and footpegs, and would be gratefull for a bit of help in what the parts are worth as they will just sit...

just noticed this on the challenge nine bikes in france, they also all have around 6 rings showing on the front preload, i am still trying to find out what they are allowed to do with there forks, cant see that they are running standard, im on one ring ohlins springs and 10 oil with 10mm more...

i am on simons fence, mines quite comfortable, and will improve the more i sit on it, going to sort the suspension first, should have done that before the exhaust, springs, oil and new leathers.

oi oi pal i know a lot of the mt09 challenge riders in france use the brembo mastercylinder, trying to get hold of a number for one of the teams as they also run with a damper and was wondering what else they do to the race bikes. The mt09 is my first proper road bike for years and i realise now...

na, they came good after a few emails, and a bit of common sence, as in i aint going to be fobbed off with a load of dealer/salesman shit.

yep, my missus seems a bit pissed off since i spent money on a new bike and then decided to set up a trust fund so that my half of the house etc goes to our son instead of her upon my death, if only she didnt say that she would marry again...........

cheers fellas, just done mine with 4 bath tap rubber washers and two basin tap rubber washers fixed with mite bond and the seat is now perfect, and no movement at all. got one more set if you want them email my wife at [email protected] with an address, work or home and i will post...

mine is going in soon for this wonder what they will do, they may ask me do you want the walking stick rubber fix or the tap washer fix. lol.

hi steve, i adjusted the pre load and it left a gouge around the shock, seems the stepped part that sits on the pin area is digging into the shock on the edge near the lowest setting, its not the c spanner that has caused it, just seems that the stepped adjuster is out of round. wasnt going to...

Just phoned yamaha uk and they said email tinklers with pictures of damaged shock, double sided stickie tape holding front air scoops and chain adjusters and they will decide if they need changing, tinklers says no we will not decide if they need changing by looking at pictures we will only...

in uk you cant get a street rally without abs, are your front air scoop panels held on with double sided sticky tape ?

spot on only thing is its got that bloody hole like the original, its there to clear a weld only thing is the weld is 3mm high and the hole is 10mmx10mm hell knows why. only been in the rain once and kept all the crap off shock and under the seat just had a line of dirty water around the hole.
