    Healtech Quickshifter

Unless your racing I’m not sure they are needed. You can change up without clutch just by putting pressure on gear lever and let the revs drop a little! £260 is a lot! Of course want is a different subject altogether!

    Crash reset

I’m not a real mechanic but when on its side it will empty its injector system (used to be carburettors) of petrol, So as long as it turns over you’ll need to keep kranking it over to fill the system with petrol. As it’s doing nothing at all I’d suspect battery leads first. Has the battery moved...

help with my low speed wobble

Most bikes will do that, de accelerating from about 50. Cause could be anything from front to back, tyres, pressures bearings, or anything in between. It won't do it accelerating or on a constant speed/revs! Don't take your hands off the bars! If it's only done 1700 miles it's not been far...

    a quick luggage question

If your Yamaha rack is for the side boxes as when made in factory, you will also need a rack for the top box with a Givi plate on it. There is no reason why the top box rack will not fit as well as your side panniers. The Yamaha pannier rails bolt on the side whereas the top box rack fits on...

    Oil light anyone ?

I come from FJs and as far as I know most Yams oil censors are height of the oil censors not pressure censors. If it is a steep hill or during a wheelie then the oil slides back exposing and turning the oil light on!

    Clutchless gear changes

Down changes need a little more revs. Keep your foot pressed down on gear lever. Give a little revs or if you are already reving, when the revs begin to drop the gear lever will drop down changing down one gear!

    Clutchless gear changes

Yep! Clutchless all the way, up and down. Only use the clutch when I'm not in the range of the next gear. As in changing down 3 at a time!

    Raised handguards

No they don't act like sails but they divert the wind enough. Since fitting them I've not noticed the wind. And to put you right Dee, because I've been a wagon driver for so long and restricted to 56 mph, I get frightened above 56, not 50mph.

    Equipement update

IB1-2. Where can I get the carbon fibre heel guard covers? Have you a link?

    Raised handguards

Top of my hands are getting a little cold and wind blown. I saw some larger handguards on someone's bike and had a think. I cut some rubber ( wagon inner tube) and shaped it to look good then squeezed between inner and outer of the handguards. It looked rather good so I loosened the nuts...

Yeh they were ok. I just couldn't work out which spacers to put where, so I just tried to make them look right.
