Shit!! what a bunch of bastards!! As everyone said, its clearly not ABS. When i went for mine, i was told under no uncertain terms that ABS could not be retrofitted to the bike, therefore your choice is get some money back, or see what the lead time would be on the real ABS one you ordered...

Dude, have you seen this?? If you just want to eliminate the dip, there is enough material left under the seat to just re-use it. This guy used a hard compound grouting sponge! Works a treat!

Im sure you must have read by now the suspension and throttle response are 'issues' with the MT-09. So the honda would surely tick all your boxes including reliability and rust?
