The seat is higher, flatter and one review said narrower although I don't think it is. It's to give the street rally a more supermoto look. I sat on it at the NEC and it resolves the only issue I have with the seat, which is sliding forward. The other bonus is you can slide yourself along it...

For some reason, the MT-09 with a fecking noisy exhaust, a helmet painted a bit like a skull and the odd wheelie here and there, really does induce some serious frowning from the general public wondering around London. LOL. They even stop walking, just to give me the eyeball as i ride past...

Alicante Yamaha in Spain just got one in the showroom, so i sent them a Tweet asking if its possible to get a frame No.

I went into Yamaha on Monday and they told me they aren't able to order a seat until the bike is realised in July........which based on your post above is the lazy answer :) If you get a frame number and a price for a seat, I'm interested on one. Can you PM me a price when you get it? and...
