Just emailed "genialmotor" (an Ebay seller based in Italy) about mine and (hopefully) they will be sending me tracking details tomorrow.
Just need to do another 250 miles to get first service out of the way before I fit it.
If all goes to plan I'll make a walk thru video on Youtube of how to...
Well I went to Poole Quay "biker night" earlier in the week. Just to see if there was another MT down there. Couldn't see one so parked up and had a wander then spotted another race blue (same as mine). So I went and got my bike, parked next to it with a plan to see if the owner tried to get on...
I've had it stall on occasion. Mostly when I pull up at, for instance, a junction and have been going quite fast beforehand. Pretty sure the two aren't related though.
My bike makes a sound that I can best describe as "pinking" (for those of us old enough to remember pinking) when accelerating but only for a while then seems to rev cleanly. So, it's not a "ticking" but more of a rattle. Somewhere between a small and big end rattle if that helps describe it?
I...
2nd-3rd gear change...
I keep missing 3rd when selecting up from second. Seems to have got a bit worse and is a bit annoying as I find I have to re select to get it in there.
Maybe I'm short changing but it's not something I noticed for the first hundred or so miles. Apart from that the box...
My first bike (in this country) was a Z250ltd Kawasaki on which my girlfriend and I travelled all over with a tent on the back and, out of sight of the prying eyes of our parents, had some great fun. (no need to explain I'm sure). I don't really regret selling the bike for what it was, but for...
Filter !!! I suppose that's the polite way of putting it.
Personally I didn't buy a bike to sit in a queue of cars, moving or otherwise. Of course I accept this could ultimately be the death of me and as I've go older and wiser I do tend to be a lot more careful but one of my favourite things...
What would be really handy is... Could anyone who has bought and fitted a screen do a short walkaround video and post it on Youtube. I don't think you can aver really appreciate what the thing will look like from a few cleverly taken photos.
Well quite a few results on here now and probably enough to say Yamaha got it wrong with their 20-35 year old target market. Bonus for them I'd say as it would appear that the somewhat older age group that seem to be more predominantly buying the bike are also likely to have a bit more cash to...
Only four hundred and fifty miles to go... It's really getting me down now,
Don't get me wrong I absolutely love the bike but resisting the temptation to race every other bike/car I come across is proving frustrating to say the least. I find I can nip past most things in traffic but head on up...
So what was your first impression of riding an MT 07?
For me, and apart from the fairly obvious "it's so bleedin' light", was the almost total lack of anything in front of you. The clocks are so low down that if it wasn't for the wing mirrors (which personally I find a little ugly) you could be...
Oddly I compared the MT with the ER6"F" as opposed the the "N", Partly because I would have preferred an MT 07F but didn't have the option.
The MT won hands down in lightness, chuckability, acceleration and was just loads more fun to ride. At 100mph the ER6 was comfortable but it was virtually...
Well I started the thread but unfortunately I was limited to 10 options so unfortunately it's the best I could do. Apologies to our senior member.
I've absolutely no doubt you will love the MT as it's just so easy to ride, nice and light too.
Seems like we have something in common as I too...
