I was out & about on my 1290 today & it was 36C at 400pm, out early on the MT tomorrow to try & beat the heat, will be doing 300kms should be back by 830am.

The 2004 to 2006 R1 front rotors fit straight on to the MT + the R6 calliper bolt & spacer kit, I will machine up my own spacers & used longer Titanium bolts..

I would still check your water level in the over flow bottle as 99% of bikes will need a top up, most radiator hoses swell a little when settling in which lowers the water level in the over flow tank.
106 is normal', mine runs there most days in traffic, we have had temps in the high 30's C of late & the 09 has never over heated, if you want a bike that runs hot buy a KTM 990 SMR on my last one the fan never stopped until I did a dual fan mod.
