I've had a Nitron Sport shock fitted. Only been on a few days but it's made a hell of a difference. Never had the need to upgrade a shock before but then again, I'm no longer as light as I used to be.

They're called Ductails for the rear end (fits under the numberplate so useless if you're going to install a tailtidy) or someone may develop a hugger extension (not that the MT has much of a hugger to extend!!)

Yep, straight through. Easy to fit and remove, which I assume is necessary when adjusting the chain.

I've fitted the Evo Tech bobbins and they work fine (also available from R&G). I was worried that they were spaced wider than the normal screw in type but my paddock stand fits fine with them.

I use Muc-Off cycle cleaner. It's safe to use of brakes, bearings etc. and is biodegradeable. Spray on, work in with a brush and rinse off. For paintwork, treat the gloss and matt finishes differently. You should be careful with Matt Grey and use a shampoo without wax.

I've found that braided hoses add feel. I've had two bikes with this type of caliper and both have been improved by fitting braided hoses in the 2 front line config.If you're concerned about locking the back brake, leave as standard.

I bought the side panels and they will not fit with an Evo-Tech Rad guard fitted. Head over heart wins and the side panels have to be returned.

Thank you for the vid. I'm now sold on the fly screen. I was debating which screen to go for. Not much choice of shorter screens. I'm not after wind protection as I've been riding a naked SV for the last 6 years.

I did....looking forward to getting back on a Yam. They're 4 miles away from me, which makes servicing a less painful experience.
