    they do sell cheap H4 leds on Ebay, link here 2X H4 Xenon White 120 LED 3528 SMD Fog Headlight Hi/Lo Beam Bulb Light Lamp 12V | eBay I believe they are mainly for show, as I cant see how they would dip to be legal in the UK. No doubt they are bright though.

    12000 or 18000 service? Mines in for 18000 service in next few weeks, will be having plugs changed then. I know the service books says 12000 miles for plug change, but the yamaha mechanic said they are the same plugs on the fz range and they are done at 18000, so didnt do mine when I serviced it...

    Are we talking plain colour you'd do yourself, or professional paint job? If done by pro, id go for either race rep(rossi or lorenzo), or classic speed block, either red/white or yellow/black. Also look good as old Marlboro paint scheme

    Looks ominous. I initially thought it was the oil cooler has failed (the large silver thing with pipes running from it), as a few people have reported them going, but as you say something has clearly smashed the casings. It looks like the area smashed is fairly well protected from flying stones...

    I've had my MT09 since october and ridden it through 3 winters, as well as in all weathers. No rust on mine, but I do clean it regularly, use ACF50, and keep it garaged.

    mine are all deformed now, but I think if you were to pack the small gap with something think like a butchered feeler gauge it should stop it happening
