Further to JohnD's reply above, I can add that I showed your picture to a technical support guy who works for Yamaha GB at the NEC Bike show today. He said the Green and Yellow wires were usually associated with Lighting and the brown was an earth. Hope this helps... I have SW-Motech aux lights...

The Yamaha rear rack is much nicer than any of the competition. It's a beautiful casting rather than the pipework of the others. The Yamaha 50 litre box fits straight on, but you could mount a Givi Adaptor plate I assume. I don't have a tail tidy.

I have wired a 12V Hella-type DIN Socket to the battery of my MT-09. I use this connect to an Optimate charger and also to run a 12V Compressor. I also have a very old BMW tourer which uses the same plug layout so this was a convenient solution.
