dash

Weird goings on... when I switch the IGN to ON, the horn makes a very short half hearted beep.. the dash shows no error codes, ABS light goes out as usual when pulling away. Dash displays as normal, and rides as normal.. Any ideas anyone. Recently had Hel Lines fitted by dealer and the recall...

Hey all, I foolishly bought a bike in a bout of desperation. As you would expect it has a sordid past. Some clown replaced the dash on my ABS MT07 with a non-ABS version on the dash. There is a difference. The different dash models measure the speed and distance travelled in a different way...

I was unsatisfied with the location of the dash so i designed a bracket... this bracket puts the dash 25mm to the left so the brake fluid container cannot touch the dash when handlebar is set forward also looks much better this way - lasercut - made of stainless steel - powdercoated - angled...

So why is it that I average 60mpg (give or take) yet the Average Fuel Consumption readout on the dash only shows 22? What's that all about then? :confused:

Hi all, probably a stupid question, but does everyone's dash start flashing a red light(key logo) about 30secs to a minute after ignition turned off? Flashes about once every 2 seconds? Never noticed it before, is it just a warning that the bike has an immobiliser or have I got a fault? Its a UK...

So I have somehow managed to get a scratch on the dash/console screen at one side. Has anyone had any success in removing them? Or is the dash screen removable/replaceable? Its luckily not across the information area but because the border is black it really stands out..... Cheers

I don't if anyone else is have this thought/problem (how ever you want to think of it) but as I'm in Australia and how Awesome the sun can here at times I've started to cover my dash cluster with an old beanie so that the Dash isn't in direct sunlight and cook the screen. Anyway long story...

When the ECO thing lights on the dash I think I read that the bike is running at about 14.7 to1 air fuel ratio...? When It goes out it richens up... Is this the time when adjusting the CO setting on the dash has an effect :confused:
