    Tyres

I know there as been a number of threads concerning the original Jap Dunlops and apparently saying how bad in the wet they are supposed to be but maybe it's just the way some people must ride in the wet, the reason I am saying this is because recently I've done 2 trips to Belgium, one to Spa and...

Is the Tracer 900 as good as they say

After I joined this forum some things reported are about change. We all like to customise our bikes to our own individual needs but somethings are expensive to correct the bike's mistakes ie spluttering issues at low revs. The rider seat is a pain after 45 minutes of riding, forks too soft and...

    New from the Midlands

Hi, Got my MT-09 on Saturday 14/11/15 , but due to the current weather here I've only been able to get out twice, once getting very wet. The temperature has dropped now and there was snow on the ground this morning. Hoping this global warming kicks in soon.

    Wetting yourself on a Tracer?

Is this occurring, as it does on the MT-09? I refer to the case, where you have the bike out in the rain, and the spray from the rear wheel ends up and giving you a very wet experience on your bum! :-) Is that sorted with the bigger rear of the Tracer?

Power is amazing after break in!!

I am on just over a 1000 miles and been gradually eeking out revs towards redline in each gear, though found it creates torque in such a way not much need to go right to redline! the sound to with arrow system is great around town can keep it in second and just roll on and off! The triple...

MT09_Rear fender mod - potential breakthrough for those rainy days

Howdy. Obviously Yamaha chose looks over practicality when it came to rear fender of the MT09. I have read all the articles relating to third party fenders, from the French, the Brits, the Americans, even Thailand. We all suffer the same fate, Wet back when riding in the rain. You get wet...

    Dunlop Sportmax GP Racer. Anyone?

Wotcha all Just been offered a pair of Dunlop GP Racers. Wondered if anyone had tried them and would recommend them or warn me to avoid. I don't ride in the wet, my Martine is just for fun so I just wanted something grippy.

How heavy is too heavy for an MT07

A mate of mine is very interested in an MT07 but he weighs in at 110kg. do you think this is too heavy for this bike, its hard to answer from my point of view as I weigh only 70kg ringing wet. I would like to see him on a MT but dont want to give him a bum steer, any opinions.

How is the MT-07 in the wet?

Hi guys. I'm considering buying the MT-07 in the next couple of months (either the MT-07 or the CB500F; I know, i know, very different rides), and I've found these forums about a week ago. Have been reading everything I could about the bike and know I would like to ask you some questions, and...
