Hey all- so I've had the bike sine 2017- she's done well to go all these years with no issues. However a few weeks ago I went to ride out with friends left the house fine got to the petrol station filled with premium then felt her bog down with white smoke. Went over the road and came back to start her and she didn't start loads of white smoke then died.
Decided to take engine out and found the head gasket at gone and had scoring on the bores. - was told easier to get a second hand engine than to fix the issue.
So got the engine this weekend fitted it went to start her and low and behold she didn't start. Turns over but lots of white smoke- she started once then just died. Working when spray into engine only.
What's going on - what's happened? - is it a dodgy engine - is it to do with fuel Please help!
