Getting Akra and PCV. Is it really worth getting ECU reflash also?

If i could send it to US for stoltec reflash (or rather if they could do the EU reflash), i wouldnt mind due to the price. But around here it is not exactly cheap.
Is it worth it?
 
There are a few places who are either looking in to it or already have falshes available in the UK for £150.

veloxracing springs to mind (Jersey), there are others too, you just have to look about a bit.

Hi,
Yes there is a flash available for the MTo9. But we haven't done one in the UK yet and the first time we do a new model we prefer to have the bike here so we can do some test after to check it is ok for the UK market.

So at the moment we are waiting on getting a bike in that we can have for a week. As we work in conjunction with the Americans.

Email them and offer: [email protected]

I've actually emailed them today pointing out that if they want a demo bike all they have to do is come to the forum and ask and i'm sure someone local will pop up with a bike, I know if they were local to me I'd happily lend mine for a week.

just waiting for my ARROW (yipee!) to arrive and then im off over 'there' on an open ticket so i wont be using mine for quite some time-bit tight on time to run it up essex tho....
 
They aren't too far from me. I did speak to them weeks ago and could do a weekend, but can't leave it with them for a week.
 
Ive had mine flashed and am getting my pcv dynod next Friday.

Will let you know how it goes.

I know all dynos will give slightly different results, etc but as a guide mine produced:

111.33 hp power
63.16 ft-lbs torque

An that's with an Akra with no cat or baffle and the Power Commander V.

You cant really compare two different dynos - im more interested in cleaning up an problems with the power and/or torque curves and not max power.

After our discussion today, this will be the route I'm taking
 
For those who had installed the pcv. Can I know where do u guys place ur o2 optimizer black box at.?
