Problems turning left and right

Hi, had this problem since I bought the MT 09, 2 weeks ago, been out in the country on great ride on B roads, when I get back to the end of my road and need to turn into my street for home, it wont turn right, it just carries on straight ahead, also when I come from the opposite direction to turn left into my street, it just carries on out to the countryside again.
The only time it lets me turn into home is when the fuel tank and my wallet is empty

Just wondered if any one else experiences these issues

mine will turn, but only torwards the nearest wetherspoon pub. it seems fine after some nosh n a couple of pints tho........
 
Well that is normal with MT-09, you have to turn off ignition 5km before Home and push it from there, this model just does not want to go home.
RTFM man.
 
Sounds like a common problem, even in Australia. Already close to 10,000 km in 6 months.

come on a ride out with me n you'll never see her again. (not recommended for those that are blissfully married.....:D )
 
Thought I was doing a lot at 900 miles in 2 weeks to get the first service and run in, looks like I wont be reducing any time soon then
