Oh and you can thank the EU for the licensing law changes...they thought it would be a good idea to make the changes so it was not possible for a young chap (or chapette lol)! to just do a CBT then a normal bike licence and jump on an R1 (under the age of 24) and wrap it around the nearest tree he cud find because he cudnt handle the power or didn't have enuf riding skill/knowledge/experience to keep it rubber side down and on the tarmac...

Why can't the eu do the same for older riders age does not mean you are more capable of hander long a powerful bike. That's why I liked the 2 year restriction that way you learn to ride safely (in theory) then if you do go to a bigger bike you have more respect (in theory) and take a sensible approach to riding a powerful bike. Most accidents from what I have seen involving powerful bikes tend to be older riders with little experience.
