Ohlins steering damper

Looks like Ohlins have come out with a steering damper for the MT-09.

that looks like it mounts on the petrol (gas) tank filler cap... very odd :/

Yes it looks like it has an adapter for the tank and steering bar.

Interesting have to see it mounted but bet it looks cool, be about £300-£350 a lot!

That's basically the same setup as the Ohilns. Great find Lee! Now we can see what it looks like mounted. Doesn't look bad at all!

Its the same as what Andreani have been supplying for a while,they did it in conjunction with Ohlins.
The Damper looks fine when fitted "Ducati style" but the bracket is from the fuel filler and just looks wrong.
Each to their own,When i got my suspension done at FWR they told me the brackets would be about £150 then theres the damper to buy.
They said £450
Kevs mod works just as good and you cant go wrong for the price.

I really dont like the mounts on the fuel cap - really weird and ruins the look.
Ive got a gpr on my R6 which works great. They have one for the mt09 but that needs handle risers which is also pretty average.

I think Kev's solution works about a bit cheaper...
