Pyramid Plastics Fender Extender

These are available now, should save a lot of crud getting in the radiator through winter. I ordered one yesterday.

Yamaha MT09 Extenda Fenda / Fender Extender / Front Mudguard Extension | eBay

Jeez, you're fast, eBay tells me when there's any new MT09 part listed and you were not far behind!

Never really liked the look of them though, can someone please post a pic when they fit theirs please so we all get a better idea of what they look like on the bike.

The ebay picture of the part fitted is too close-up...

I've got one on order as well - didn't see the post here, but ordered as soon I saw it on flebay.
Thursday off, so time to do a bit of things to the hooligan!

I'm waiting for them to have the rear hugger extender... :)

I've been riding for the last week without the standard hugger and can say its no worse than with it fitted. It really needs a proper hugger making which does give protection, not a stick on extension for what excuse is there at present.

I agree with you. There should be the option of having a longer hugger without the necessity of a stick on extension... Will have to wait and see if there is some manufactureres out there that will may a full hugger

R&G are working on one which is scheduled for release soon, as for a rear fenda extenda.... you can't polish a turd!

The OEM rear hugger is pretty much the worst i'ver ever seen....it looks good but all the crap goes right through the gaps along the bottom, to to mention the huge drainage hole directly behind the rear suspension!

I've ordered mine and will be ordering the hugger extension and a rear fender extender when they become available. Had one good long run out in October on greasy wet roads and the back of my jacket was covered in crud.

And if some aftermarket company is reading this and thinking of making longer huggers and front mudguards, could you do a carbon fiber version too please :D

Just ordered mine off the bay .... cant wait for rear fender tho , will some one please hurry up and make one ! Ive got a spare bucket hanging about and im not afraid to make my own !! On a different note , fitted Oxford hot grips last week.. brilliant bit of kit, tho i did let glue dribble between the bar and twist grip ,cruise control ! Woke me up on the way to work when the throttle stuck open !!! Now cured , also new under wear ordered .

just ordered the fender extender. considering fabricating an extension for the hugger. might have a play with some aluminium at the weekend and see if i come up with anything that looks any good.:)

Dazzer if you make a hugger out of ally and it looks good , i will buy it or trade the one i making out of my mums washing up bowl [ not ally] :)

i couldnt find much ally in the scrap bin so ive not been to adventurous. i tried it polished but i didnt like the look so i used some satin spray. think it looks ok and must make some difference. i think the one on the pyramid site looks a bit clumsy. most of the spray is of the middle of the tyre so fingers crossed.
