Oil leak from main output shaft behind front sprocket.

Does anyone know if there is a seal here? I've looked at the manual and can't see anything about a seal/gasket. Just the bearing.

I've noticed a little oil when replacing the sprocket, it's not dripping out but there is a slight leak.

Any help is appreciated!

It's only on 11k and I have a just under 1" of slack with me sat on it.

There does not appear to be a separate seal, although the bearing housing may have a seal inside it.

Hi. EeeTea here - I've got a major oil leak from this output shaft so looking around for answers and came across this thread.

My MT-09 Tracer has done 10.5k miles, I got back from a ride today and the rear tyre is doused in oil all up the pannier and all around the RH casing. The oil was burning off the collector, and the centre and prop stands were dripping.

Was there any update/ progression on this issue?
