Bling?
Sweet loudness?
Boingy stuff?
More gruntiness?

Put it another way; if YOU had a stock MT 09 and someone gave you $2500 but you HAD to spend it on your bike; what would you do?

Rim tape Idle, lots and lots of rim tape! OR... new back shock... akra or arrow.... class A drugs ... prostitutes... sorry , went a bit off track there... :o

With only £1200 I'd do the suspension too, but wouldn't spend more than £800 on it, £400 each end MAX.
The other £400 I'd use on tyres as and when required with the bike being able to corner like it should.

Supercharger !
:)

Only joking......... Or am I ?

If I was limited to £1,500 it's got to be a toss up between suspension or exhaust.
Personally i'd be tempted to go for the exhaust (in fact I did!) for instant gratification. An Akra' sounds great, the flames are wonderful and it knocks over 2kg off the weight of the bike. T
Then when funds allowed i'd upgrade the suspension and then the tyres.
Smaller stuff i'd class as essential to chuck at it would be adjustable levers and crash bungs.

forget the crash protection that's what insurance is for you don't want to only do 700 quids worth of damage to your bike you want to write the fucker off otherwise the excess will cost you , so I would go for an exhaust then with the other 450 spend it on rent boys and remember just its a girl with a dick not a bloke with tits.

HMMM.

Id go for a seat concepts (or similar) custom seat, to eliminate the dip.
Akrapovic exhaust
crash protection
suspension mods
tail tidy
