Who's done a tour on an MT09?

Last year myself and three mates done a 5 day tour, France,Belgium & Germany.
Total mileage was just under 1300.
Two of us on MT09s, mine 2014 my mates a 2017.
I took a 20litre Givi tank bag and a small 8litre roll top bag on the rear seat, just for trainers, waterproof gloves & hi viz waterproof jacket.
Space was tight but I managed.
My mate had the Yamaha soft panniers and so much more capacity.
I changed my seat for the flatter street rally one and I'm certain it's more comfy than the standard seat.
He said he got arse ache with the standard seat.
Ironically he has a comfort seat but is vertically challenged so doesn't use it.
I only have the small Yamaha flyscreen to keep wind off, it's ok sustaining 75-80mph but above that it's a bit hard on the neck muscles.
The only reoccurring pain I got doing 250ish miles a day was between the shoulder blades , not sure why.
Overall I'd say MT09 is great for touring on.
Tracer would be even better in terms of comfort I guess.
We are going again this year in June, similar route.
The roads in the Ardennes are fantastic and the B500 in Germany is motorcycle heaven.

Done a European trip 2 years ago 2800 miles in 10 days, ferry from Hull road down to the south of France bike was fantastic and faultless, used kriega luggage

Took mine 3,000 miles across Europe last year, doing the same this year.
I have a small tank bag and a waterproof roll back strapped to the back.
Both quick and easy to remove when out having fun...

Great set up. Where have you run the straps to secure your roll bag? I've looked at a roll bag a few times and can strap the front straps to the pillion pegs but cant work out where to secure straps at the back?
Pillion pegs for the front and round the indicators for the rear.
I have the Rok strap type ‘loop’ straps so makes it really easy, and secure.
I’ve had no issues with them coming off or damage to the indicators...

Yup, just the standard ones... the bag never moved once...
