night riding is not a worry for me as my biking is generally daytime riding and trackdays to me it's purely a token gesture .
I always stick my arm out any way must be an age thing
John is a mate I use to race with him a long time a go he was at the sprint I did a couple of months back he was riding David Jefferies 2003 crf450 supermoto
not that it has any thing to do with the subject just name dropping ;)
I have fitted the integrated rear light and I am looking for some small led indicators I can fit in the sides of the headlight and lose the fronts completely
found this on Ebay but the feed back isn't good apparently bad fitting not prepared to order it if it's not a good finish
so is there any companies here in the uk that are making them in a matt finish as this will match my wheels.
I haven't used this but I have used exhaust heat wrap which does the same from what I understand got it on my er6 I run
It works on er6 stops it cooling the gases to quick less back firing.
get the fueling right on mt09 and it's not an issue since I had Simon remap my ecu it hasn't been an issue
finally got my bike back from Maxton it is the first one they have fitted the gp10 race shock to and cartridges to the front can't say how much of an improvement it is due to the shite weather
but I can tell by sitting on it there is less sag and it doesn't rock back and forth like a nodding dog.
I have the dunlops on mine had the pegs down 2 up on the mountain (Isle of Man) no issues only problem is I have done 850 miles and they are nearly ready for changing.
got these for next year ready for a few trackdays
I have finally got the filter so all I need is the weather to change so I can try it then I need to run it up on the dyno
It's taken some time getting this filter I hope I can tell the difference
Yeah i got an r6 09 model with arrow tit system pcv quickshifter and 3 up on back 1 down on front just makes me laugh exiting corners it's brilliant with on the brakes to with the litre bikes.
that just shows you don't need a big bike just the right setup
Well when Simon mapped my bike he showed me all the other pipes and setups he had done and the power and torque curves were very close accept for the two brothers system which was shit
Yeah but for somewere like cadwell it will pull out of corners like a steam train upset a few litre bikes i'm hoping.
the roads i ride you can't get above 100mph average speed
If your looking at different options have listen to Miles bike he is running the sc project cr-t exhaust sounds and looks awesome not badly price and if you don't want to be like all the sheep and buy akrapovic it's worth a look
I have got r&g frame protectors but i'm looking at engine protection if your bike goes down and slides the engine cases will go down and you don't want stones and any other shit getting in to the engine.
still looking at getting the woodcraft protection as i know they work my r6 went down 120mph...
I have just ordered new wheels for the bike and it comes with a new rear sprocket so I ordered it with 3 teeth more and 520 pitch got new front sprockets ordered 15/16 tooth.
I have done this on all my bikes over the past 25 years it comes from racing I don't do long distance riding so for me...
Yeah there not cheap there in a matt finish look good got them coming end of January so give me chance to sort out the pipe ready for oulton park in february
I think I just watched a vid you have posted up I know the roads vaguely it does sound good with the onboard footage that camera mount is class I do like that pipe Miles.
gonna have a serious look at that pipe with consideration to buying it
