Barely had time to ride it this though with various other commitments, think ive just cracked 1000 miles this summer at most. 4320 miles on the clock now roughly i think. 2014 MT07 for sale £4000

Selling my beloved MT07 going travelling. Just over 4000 miles used weekly doing 200 miles a week. Has a couple of scratches one on the exhaust cover. One on the right handle bar end and on the wing mirrors where I walked it into the garage and fell over. Will add photos when I work it ok. My...

    No indicators - Ignition issue

More of a heads up really. I was riding into work this morning and noticed straight away my indicators weren't working. I only work five miles away so i thought it was just a fuse (even though the horn etc.. was working). I pulled up at work and the bike just cut out like id hit the kill...

Opinions wanted on MT09 purchase option :)

Hi guys :) So I've decided on the MT09 - was considering the MT07 but I honestly think the 09 looks heaps better visually, and the extra power of the engine sounds lovely. I want one in race blue, but they had to introduce a new colour scheme didn't they!? Now I'm in a pickle! To make a long...

    injection system balancing

does the MT09 need this done ? my Street Triple did during servicing, well it was checked and adjusted if needs be, which it did need as it was "miles out" according to the technician at Fowlers and it must have cos the bike felt much smoother when I got it back.

Buying an ex-demo bike - pros & cons?

Hi all, first post here, and I haven't yet introduced myself because I don't yet own an MT07! I'm thinking of switching from my ER6N, and as usual have picked the worst time of the year to go bike-hunting, as my local dealer can't get new stock until September (not that far away really)...

    1st Chain Re-Lube Today

I had it done on its 600 mile service, and i have now hit 1500 miles or just under, chain was starting to look a tad mucky so went for it. Quite high mileage without a re-lube but to be fair the bike i sonly ridden in the dry so was well lubed and didn't really need it before. Have to say its...

Chain marked swingarm at 390 miles!

Quick word of warning to those with new bikes especially. Checked my chain tension at 390 miles for first time this morning (I know, I should use it more, and clearly should have checked it more especially), despite correct running in procedure ie not revving the nuts off it or pulling wheelies...

    clunky gearbox

hi everyone, took bike out today and did aprox 180 miles but noticed the gearbox seemed very clunky clanky call it what you will. now it was a hot day and still not had first service ( done only 400 miles) so am hoping it was combination of hot day with running in oil still in engine and...

    The First 300 miles

Got my new tracer last Tuesday afternoon. So, all day Wednesday was spent putting 300 miles on her:) Love the engine - really perky and the gearbox is much smoother than my previous bike a Triumph Tiger 1050. I do have a couple of very minor niggles I thought I'd share for no particular reason...

Have I done the right thing?

Hi to all, Have I done the right thing? After going to have a pair of Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa's fitted to my 7600 miles 2011 Triumph Speed Triple yesterday (30-05-15) whilst they were being fitted I wondered off around the bike shop to kill some time....... So after a little while of killing...

    Tyre life.

Hi fellow MT owners, I've been floating around on the outside of this forum since I bought my Purple bike a year ago. I've now completed 7000 happy miles on a bike which always puts a smile on my face. The OE Michelin Pilots as fitted to my bike seem to have hardly any wear on them. I've heard...

    Comfort seat

Does anyone have one and is the difference from the standard one worth the cost? Just done my first longish day 285 miles on the mt07 and after about 150 miles that seat wasn't pleasant. Have previously done several few hundred mile days on my old bike (Hornet) with no issues. Also I cycle a...
