well finally fitted the Yamaha genuine side stand foot !! then took it straight back off !!!!!! the fitting was a nightmare I had to really bend the top plate so it didn't strip the bolt thread holes in the aluminium base trying to tighten it on , one bolt was directly under the stand bar so...

Its been bugging me for a while now so i thought i'd take the risk? I hacked off the caps that are on the side covers so i don't have to keep taking of the side covers every time i want to use the ABBA STAND. Plus side it looks great and i can now easily use the greatest center stands

SW-Motech now do a main/center stand for the MT-07 no interest to the ones that go everywhere as fast as possible but may be of interest to others. Rugged centerstand for Yamaha MT-07.

Sorry if this has been done before, but this is my solution for using the ABBA stand lift with my MT09 Needs to be a good quality nylon, tends to lift the bike quiet high but is stable once lifted. Cheers

Hi, just got an Oxford bike stand. It was the cheapest I could find. I am surprised at how high it lifts the rear wheel. It is a two man job using it. Is this normal for these things?
