Yamaha Soft Luggage and Rack system for Sale

I have recently bought the side panniers and mounting system for my bike and used them once on a trip to Luxembourg, where they were excellent, easy to take on and off and you can detach the racks very easily when you don't need them. However I am planning a much longer trip of several weeks...

    touring

Have recently been on a tour of the Picos/Pyrenees and through Andorra riding down and back through France. I was concerned that it would be a pain riding down through France as we did a lot of motorway but I was amazed at how good the MT was all through the trip even fully loaded with topbox...

    Road Trip

Heading off on a road trip on Thursday. I am going over to N Ireland for a weekend meet with the Z1000SX forum. Why the Z1000SX crowd you may or may not ask. I used to have one of those fantastic bikes but sadly it was just getting to heavy for me and a lad in Spain where I used to live offered...

    First trip of the year.

So I took the bike out for the first time this year. I parked the bike back in late October last year, not battery charger or anything, and 4,5 months later it fires right up without any trouble at all. That impressed me. The trip was cold, so it was not a very long one, I see I have to work...

    Maximum Load

The manual sais: Maximum load: MT07 176 kg (388 lb) MT07A 173 kg (381 lb) (Total weight of rider, passenger, cargo and accessories) What does that mean that if I weigh 100 kg and I want to take my buddy on a trip and he weighs 90 or 100 kg? What are the consequences of overloading the bike...

    Longest trip?

Having just got home after a 300 mile round trip, London to Lowestoft (I had to vist my very sick step-father) my mind is slightly swimming with impressions of what is by far my longest time on the bike in one day ... and I wonder how many of you have done substantial miles in one day ?

    Finally got my MT

After waiting since July, and reading this forum for a couple of months, I've finally picked up my MT-07 in deep armour. Was taking it very easy on the ride form the dealers to my work as I'd just jumped off a 125cc and wanted to get used to the power. Only hit just over 50 mph on the 6 mile...
