Well, it finally happened.

After years of surviving dodgy weather and homicidal Volvos I finally got taken out this morning by a kamikaze pedestrian who thought it would be a great idea to run across a dual carriageway .

The bike's FUBAR'd, although I didn't actually fall off, but I have a broken right hand, torn rotator cuff and my right arm's an interesting shade of purple.

Sadly the pedestrian didn't fare quite so well with some nasty compound fractures.

Still, could've been worse.

Im glad to hear you're mostly ok!!!!!

We normally gripe about idiot drives....i guess you've at least got an interesting story about a suicidal pedestrian?

We are glad you are alive! - Has someone in the family photographed the bike afterwards?

Hope the insurancebogus is easily done with :)

Glad you are still with us , don't worry about the bike , it is so cheap you can buy you or your insurance another one .
Did you wear proper gear ?

Yep, I wore proper gear.

Seriously peeps, don't skimp. I have a lot of bruising that would have been broken bones if my gear hadn't been so good.

Wow what was that person thinking!

So does your insurance company sue the pedestrian for monies? Im not sure how hitting people works

GWS!
