Hey everyone. Some of you own their bike for longer than us here if you own a MT-09.
Any sign of premature chain wear? My chain was spot on specs at 15mm when I got the bike, 1400 miles later it was at 30mm! So I readjust it within specs (5-15mm) and now the chain is very noisy.
In my book stretching 15mm in 1400 miles its quite a lot. 70% of my riding is at freeway speed and never rode in the rain so far. Regular maintenance has been done (clean n lube) like I usually do.
For the time being I will open up the chain play to 20mm and start from there... better too loose than too tight!
