Hi all,

I ve noticed strange tyre wear on my back wheel. Possibly suspension related but before I start messing with it jus want to ask if this is sort of common on MT09

Its the leading edge of tread seams to be going quicker than the rest

Looks normal to me. You've just been accelerating fairly briskly whilst leant over, that's what causes wear like that. Compare with mine after a track day in hot weather

Oh I know what track wear look mate ;-) Tbh I dont accelerate that hard on the exit but maybe torque does its job. Ok no worries cheers

Yep shity dunlops. Good to know its common. I ll stop tweaking suspension to get rid of it and set it up to ride hard :-D

yeah they are crap on the mt mate, get some dual compound tyres like the Pirellis angel gts or the Michelin pr4s, the Pirellis are the best upgrade I have done on my bike.

I think I ll go for good old supercorsas o recetecs no better grip in dry. Wet is scarry but thats what B mode is for ;-)

If you like the racetecs then try the new M7 RR, same kind of grip levels but there good in the wet, after nearly 1k on these they still look like the day i put them on, massive improvement over the dunlops
