Exhaust mods?

Hi all, new to the forum (I'll jump on the intro section in a minute)

I'm looking at chucking a mivv suono full system on my mt-09.

Couple of questions.....

Will the ecu need playing with or a power commander need installing. By need I mean must it be installed or does a full system not make much difference to fuelling etc on the mt-09?

Also the stock system has balance pipes between the 3 pipes coming out of the engine, would a system without these cause any issues?

Any help greatly appreciated, take it easy!

Welcome to the forum.

I don't have balance pipes on my Two Brothers. U won't know if the MIVV upsets the fuelling until uv installed it I'm afraid. It's gonna be a "fit it and see)! Lol

oh it will be the end of the world if you do that! the engine will explode, your house will burn down and your girlfriend will grow a beard at both ends.............ive been reading too much again, havnt i?

Moral of the story is find a girlfriend without a beard ( at both ends)! Lol

U won't need to with this zorst as it was developed specifically for the MT. U mite wanna whack a PCV on it if ur after more power/Torque etc but it shud be fine without one

Yeah. I got mine fitted at the dealers. Got a good deal with the new bike. It hasn't been remapped or anything. It really spits out flames with the db killer removed. Might go and see this guy next spring and get her on the rolling road and maybe a power commander fitted.

Cheers dude, might look into,the official akra for next summer. Spoke to the dealer today who seems genuine but tried steering me away from the mivv or scorpion systems saying they aren't good for overall power. Time and savings will tell
