Grey MT09 ordered

Well that's it ordered Grey MT09 , I wanted the race blue but would need to wait .. I think the grey will be nice , I'll possibly get paint job done on the wheels
Also getting a quote for a ackrapovic carbon exhaust ( how much should this be ? ) R&G tail tidy and a yamaha dark screen . Anything else I should consider ?
My GSXR 1000 L2 is getting traded in for this , they are giving me £7500 for gixer :cool:
Oh .. Only one week to wait for the bike ! Woo hoo .... It's going to be a big change from the gixer but I'm sure it's a good change ... Iv just had it with hyper sports bikes ....

Awesome news, I have the grey and it looks smart. The silver forks suit it IMO.

List price for the carbon Akra is 679 and most dealers are quoting 1 1/2 hrs fitting.
 
7500k for your gixxer so its basically a swap, nice , you can order gold forks for about another 300 for the pair if I remember exactly but to be honest spend the 300 on a rear shock.
 
Welcome to the club, I'm pretty sure you will love your grey MT, I've got the race blue but was really contemplating the grey. Both look very nice mate!!

Well i wanted the race blur but could only get the grey or orange ... but now i think the grey is the right choice .. hope to pick it up on 21st ! then im away for a weeks work then get a long ride on the 29th down to the british super bikes at Knockhill ! ......
 
Grey is a good colour but do you know the Orange coloured ones are faster? this is a known fact established in the early days of this forum.

Think grey will defo be the quickest ! thinking about a few green bits ! Not to much but just goodrige hoses and shorty levers ... Also got the carbon akra ordered for £600 fitted ! not to bad I thought R&G tail tidy £72 and a yam screen £90 all fitted ! I'm happy with that !
 
Called my insurance today ... Gixer insurance is only just renewed 4weeks ago ! Bike sure ! they said there would only be a £25 charge ! I thought the MT would have been cheaper !
 
I came across these fees when I bought my MT.
I had a Fazer FZ1 that I didn't want to sell just in case I hated the MT, then at least I hadn't lost the bike I'd loved!
So Hastings changed me to a multibike policy for £60 inc admin (5 Months to run).
So 4 weeks later I sell the Fazer and they convert me back to a single bike policy. The MT is slightly cheaper so after the refund I only owed them £17 :)
