Hello from Sheffield

Hello guys,

I've ordered my MT-07 this week and delivery is due in a couple of weeks. I've chosen a white one with ABS, although I would have preferred it without because I'm impatient and couldn't wait a couple of months for one. I traded in a 2005 model Kawasaki Z1000 that I've only had a couple of months because I just didn't bond with it. I still haven't ridden an MT-07 but will be tomorrow

I have a confession...... I am addicted to wheelies and from what I've seen MT-07's are damn good at them I can't wait to try it

it is a good ride, never experienced the sensation of wheelies on any bike I have owned due to full throttle control

I took an MT07 out yesterday for about an hour. I fired the engine and was a bit underwhelmed by the noise. Pulling away in traffic it felt lumpy compared to my Z1000 but I loved how light the bike was and how torquey the engine felt. It's such a maneuverable bike so perfect for my 70 mile round trip commute to work. I worked my way out of Nottingham on to some country roads so chance to open it up a little. Wow, I never expected it to be as fast and it will wheelie in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear with a dip of the clutch or tug on the bars!

I am so impressed with the bike and have definitely made a good choice. My bike gets delivered on 30th August but I can't ride it until 1st September. I'm really looking forward to it
