My name is Matt, age 20, from Nottingham.
Just ordered my blazing orange MT-09 for delivery in March. Having the yamaha fly screen and an R&G tail tidy fitted to it. Thought i'd get my order in early because i've heard of people having long delivery times, and im 21 in March, so my insurance goes down a bit. This will be my first proper bike, only had scooters before. I know its not really a beginners bike do, but im very sensible and at the end of the day im in control of the bike, so it will only do what i tell it to do. Just having it for weekends and dry days only. plans for the bike are:
Full Arrow Exhaust System
Pillion footrest blanking plates
LED indicators
Radiator grill
ASV levers
 
Hello and welcomes, I am in Kent, good choice for a first bike, Orange ones are by far the best and the fastest, I have had mine a few weeks now, it is a very easy to ride bike but it is also very quick, like you say though it is all to do with that right hand, so far I have a R and G rad grille fitted and the tail tidy, that thing from the factory they hang the number plate on should win an award for being super ugly and weird. I too would like a aftermarket exhaust, bit pricey though, I may well wait until the warranty has run out and open up the standard one, throw away the cat and some of the baffling and weld it back together again!
