Hello to everyone! Bought the MT in November but not getting it on the road till March (too soft to ride through the winter).

Choose the MT because it has the same fun actor as my old Super Duke. Traded in an RC8 which, whilst very competent, just didn't get the juices going in the same way.

Had a test ride at Ian Bells in Northumberland (great service) and knew straight away that the MT would make a great back roads tool HOWEVER suspension is rubbish. The bike should be back from Maxton after Christmas (see my reply to thread)

Hi Steve,
Controversial but I got the grey one. Will look nice hopefully with a few choice bits!

The usual mods- straight to R&G for fork sliders, bobbins & engine covers (GB Racing don't list them yet) + Ian Bells have stuck a screen on as part of the deal (can't recommend them highly enough). I think I'll get the seat recovered and a gel insert and exhaust is up there too.

Yourself?
Cheers
Mike

Hi Mike,
I also bought my bike from Ian Bell, you always get top quality service from him and the guys in the shop. I got a fly screen, Oxford heated grips and the MT tank pad all in with the price. My bike is the Race Blu model, I really liked the blue wheels, but would have loved the gold forks. Might see you up at the Hartside sometime.
Cheers
Alan

Hi guys, I've ordered the street rally for March. Got a 30th anniversary gs at the minute but struggling to sell it, had some idiot come and view it off fleabay, told me it was immaculate then offered me a grand less!!
First on my list is suspension, braided hoses, short levers, crash protection and exhaust. I'm liking the arrow exhaust or akro, got a mivv on my gs which looks nice
