I'm getting fed up with the tail tidy

Don't get me wrong it looks the part but I'm getting tired of the wet all up my back the back of the bike when it rains? One little puddle and the whole bike needs a wash Grrr. !

Scuse me ... dont you mean the Mudguard then ? the tail tidy doesnt change the fact that the BIKE gets dirty? nor did the original platesetup prevent it before ?

i got the original yamaha one. Its fine ... he looks better, and thats all it has to do ?

Surely it's not there to stop any dirt/wet getting on the undertray? Like jeppebm said surely you mean the Mudguard?

me too got the original tail tidy and I have no problems with it in rain or any type of weather.

R&G tail tidy and a pyramid plastics hugger extension ( fitted with prestud type panel clips) and no problem with excess water / dirt .

Never drive in the wet so no problem for me.
I can see it being an issue if you use your bike as a daily driver, I just have mine for fun.
