Kev's "Anti throttle surge mod"!

A throttle tamer will do the cure

I would be doing my throttle cam mod or fit a new throttle cam if you are battling with the throttle.

It will have to be soon because I'm off to Ireland for a few days with MT either end of April or end of May (I can't even remember when, that's also on my calendar at work) and I want it flashed before that.

Another happy customer here! It definitely smoothed the throttle at low RPM. Congrats on this project Kev, probably there will be new brazillian buyers soon. I'll do the marketing around here.

Not done any work on the Tracer I may look into it, all the mods present & past have all been built for my personnel bikes I build them & share them based off my bikes, I am not a company mass producing mods for max $ gains, I will see what the future brings as I don't really want spend lots of my own money in Dyno testing these mods when I have guys pulling my mods apart looking to copy them for their own gains.
 
The symptoms of the closed loop syndrome are as you describe so think it should work as its pritty much the same bike.
If your after a tester I can do that ;)
 
Hello from a newbie (tho' I've been lurking for a while). Got the MT09 a year ago and luv it apart from the snatch. So yesterday I fitted Kev's anti surge mod and am happy to report, it's definitely much smoother with much less snatch & jerk going on. Makes a top bike, even better. Thanks Kev.
 
Fitted mine today , it's totally sorted the problem out , feels like a bike with a set of carbs on nice and smooth low down ,no more chopping throttle mid corner
