Hi all, I crashed my bike this weekend :((lowside 20 Mph/30 km/t) slippery was the coarse of the crash.
Left Hand Side Waterpump and Generator Case Cover , footrest is broken also leftside and handel bar.
I tryed to find spare parts on the internet, but can only find the adjustebel ones. And its expensive.
Any links to get original parts, and cases?
And which crashpads r best for crashes? RG,TREX,Gb Racing ?
Sorry my english, :p
thx in advance:)
Phillipe

My sympathies [emoji17] .
The most important thing is that you're OK. At the end damage to the bike only boils down to money, which can always be fixed...

I think you just convinced me to buy engine case protectors.
I'm considering either the Yamaha (215$), or the T-rex (110$).

Since the T-rex are almost half price, and seem to be solid enough (based on the photos), I'll probably go with them. Unless I run across a compelling argument not to.

Sorry to hear/see - hopefully it is only the bike, that is damaged?

Exactly same damage i had.
Brake pedal costed me £61, not done anything to the covers.
It is doable to replace the foot rest yourself, takes a bit of time, and you need a big torque wrench.

By the way - is yours the ABS model?

Oh - og Velkommen til, rart med flere danskere her :-)

Thx all,,only my Ego was damaged ..:)
And yes its ABS modell..
Hvor købte du fodhvileren har kigget alt i gennem..Link :) Det er brmsepedalen ophænget som er knækket.
In English (Where did you buy footrest have checked everything:) It's the rearset that was broken.)

Good to hear.
I got my footrest from my dealer.
You can see the part catalogue online - only found on the UK site: Yamaha Motor UK

The part number, you are looking for is likely to be pos. 26: 1RC-27443-00

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any danish websites with the parts - but they are all over in EU :)

After almost 3 years and 2000 km of driving, last was yesterday. Every time i release the clutch in first gear , the bike begins to shake,
I went to the dealer, and he said it might be the clutch.
Today i called him,,He said the reasson was that after the crash, and because i didnt change the cases, it was the reasson, its doing it now ???
Almost 20000km, he found metal in the oilpump, the clutchhouse , gasket etc..
The Price is 2000 GBP (15000dkr)
Shall i repair it for that amount , or just buy an used Engine?
And if Used Plz post link..
Very sad now, No bike and its summertime..:(
