Thanks for the info. Dunno why, but I just don't seem to be able to find Marthy's thread and his mailbox is full so I couldn't send him a PM.
Anyhow..... Another silly question, what's to stop you mounting the ZX-14 shock upside down so that you don't have to take chunks out of the underseat tray?
Just pursuing this as there seem to be plenty of ZX-14 shocks around going cheap.

finally got my bike back from Maxton it is the first one they have fitted the gp10 race shock to and cartridges to the front can't say how much of an improvement it is due to the shite weather
but I can tell by sitting on it there is less sag and it doesn't rock back and forth like a nodding dog.

I'd love to get the suspension uprated on the MT but to be honest I couldn't live with that pink/purple spring or the mint green one.
Stupid and flippant of me I know because this looks like a top shelf bit of kit quality wise !!


Can I have a few weeks in Lanzarote for Christmas this year please.

you could probably have the spring a different colour .... certainly others do it.
