Hello I got my fz this week. I am thinking about swapping the handle bar. I have 3 handle bars at home from my XS11. One is the drag bar with raisers. Looks like it could be a good one for the fz07. I also have a cafe racer bar. Has anyone changed the handle bar.

I am also thinking about modifying the exahaust. I am waiting till I get 1000 miles on the bike. I am planing to drill through the tube outside the pipe and add a small harley davidson baffle in the tube for back pressure. This one should be the easiest mod I have read a few threads on this one.

For the plate I want to move it up. I am thinking to drill a couple of holes may be 4, cut long stick it and then put a bolt holding the two pieces.

If anyone has pictures of suggestions on this complex procedures please post the link to the thread. Thanks

I have replaced with Renthal Road Ultra Low. No mods required, just drill for controls and bolt it on the bike.

Thanks Anders, Do you like the riding position better with the Renthal Road Ultra Low handlebar? Is it a little bet more agressive (sport)?

Hello guys I have a video and I must said. First I shopped the tip. Then I drilled to the side from the hole of the exhaust tip but that was not enough. So I drilled a second time from the hole where the tip attaches to the front of the exhaust where the headers connect to the exhaust. My drill has a 1/2 inch and that worked pretty good. So I put back the tiny baffle here

and added a cover to make it look stock hopefully it will pass inspection next year. This is the cover part number Superior 28-6202 3" x 7"

I have a clip with the sound but this was last night and my wife was sleeping so I havent had time to test it but it sounded good.
