With my textile trousers there is a bit with what I assume leatherish patch never had a problem with seat. However when in the twisties you need to slide from side to side easily for the body movement on the corners (cheek to cheek)? Love IT

If you get the seat recovered jet ski seat material is the go. Good quality and very tough if you get a decent material. Handles being wet or dry and still has enough grip without being sticky.
Seat Concepts covering work extremely well. Recovered my DRZ400SM and Husky TR650 and very happy. I ride mostly in my textile adv suit on the road but my full leathers seem to like the covering as well.

I had a mt09, and I say the mt07 seat is better, sorry.
