MT07 Indicator stayed on

Today I was out for a ride, stopped off put the steering lock on so ignition was off. Went to walk away from bike and indicator was flashing, I must have left it on when I pulled off the road.

However surely it shouldn't still,flash if the ignition isn't on? Or is this some feature I don't know about, has anyone else experienced this on their MT07.

I went out and tried on my bike.

Ignition on, flashers on.
Ignition off, flashers off
Steering lock on, flashers came back on.

I guess this is the same function as on cars where if you put on the indicator on the parking light on that side comes on.
It's a feature intended to make the vehicle seen if abandoned on the side of the road.

Na your turning the key just a little to far,
if you feel carefully you will find there is another click after the steering lock click
and you are going right through to that position and that allows the indicators and hazards to work

Cheers gents, just checked it out and you're right, on closer inspection I can see the letter P and the lights symbol.
