Rear wheel

Cleaning bike at the weekend and found blue paint on cloth when cleaning rear wheel. Is anyone else having the same problem.

Yes I got same result. Cleaned with Wd-40 to get rid of chain lube stuck on the rim after overlubing. guessed that wasn't a good idea so next time I will only use hot water.. was a deasent amount of blue colour on the cloth... =/

yes was wondering if it was the wd40. I have used it on my gsxr from day one 8 years on never seen any paint on cloth after using it.

I washed my bike with usual turtle wax car wash stuff, & cloth was blue when wiped wheels. I then used petrol to get chain wax off but cloth wasn't blue! Was the first time I cleaned it though.I've never had it happen on any other bike either. Paint on frame seems very fragile too, where pillion seat catch hits subframe it marks so so easily

I washed rear wheel again yesterday with Wd-40. Was much less blue paint on the cloth. So I belive next time there will be close to nothing. ☺
