Where do I start with explaining this lol.

As some of the forum members know my friend owns Pro-bike Yamaha/Suzuki in Newbury which is my local dealership, Pro-bike has kindly offered to let me run a raffle and the prize will be a Two Brothers S1R carbon system. As it stands I am the only person in the UK to have one so it's quite a prize to get.

The way this will work is easy...

You purchase a raffle ticket or tickets...(there are no limits to the number you can buy)! via pro-bike's PayPal account...you will get an automatic PayPal reference number unique to you as per the norm when you purchase anything through PayPal. You then use that reference number as your raffle ticket number. Each ticket will require a single PayPal purchase.

For this raffle to happen we need 160 raffle tickets to be bought. The price of a ticket will be £5. So technically you have a 160 chance in winning unless you buy more than one ticket of course. So if you win you will get a £700 exhaust system for £5. Any forum member can enter.

Any money's left over will be donated to a charity of the forums choosing on the forums behalf. And the relevant paperwork will be posted as proof.

We are going to run a raffle once a month and prizes will be things like Shoei and Shark helmets, full set of leathers, textiles, Knox Handroids, things like that. Obviously depending on the prize will depend on how many tickets need to be sold but I can confirm that someone will win each time.

Sounds good, but i wish there where more charity behind it.

Tickets are £5 each, and you need to sell 160. That gives £800
The exhaust is RRP £700

Who's earning the money here, before the charity gets an opportunity?

As it stands we have 511 registered members... There were 503 at 9 o'clock this morning, if half of them buy a ticket then there will be a decent amount of cash donated...
This is more about winning something for next to nothing and any extra money will be greatly received by the nominated charity.
 
if i buy a ticket and win do i get a discount on a bike to fit it on?
 
Can overseas members join the raffle?
Assuming we settle the shipping with standard parcel mail costs.

Yes of course overseas members can join. Like I said...ALL registered members can buy a ticket, if u are lucky enough to win and u live overseas and as long as u cover shipping costs it's fine. I believe it's cheaper for u to have it picked up by UPS than it is for us to send it to u...

Unfortunately not mate... like I said....minimum tickets that need to be sold is 160. If it were say...a shoei helmet it wud be around half that or less...
 
Like I said in the initial post... there are over 500 members registered... if half agreed to buy just one ticket someone will win a spanking zorst for a fiver lol
