Two Brothers SR1

Will you have a chance to use the new akra before you change it for this one mate ! lol

Not gonna bother with the new Akrapovic mate...
Rumour has it that it has "NOT FOR ROAD USE"! as it's a full race system stamped on it but won't know till the supplier gets one in his hands. Also......there are none of the Two Brothers in this country yet (on an MT-09)! so it's still quite new. We spoke to Two Brothers in the states today and they confirmed that they have not shipped a single unit for the MT-09 into this country yet.....

No wonder if they're not road legal either :) Why not make something that is nice AND road legal for once. Not everyone buys new bikes to use them only on track days.

Just out of curiosity, what's everyone's problem with the 'old' Yamaha Akrapovic system? Price? Sound? Looks? Performance? I quite like it :-)

A couple of reasons I didnt go with it - the official Yamaha Akra is hard to get a hold of in Australia, but to me the sound is nicer - a bit deeper from what I hear - I also preffered that with the Two Bros you can get a couple of baffles to change the db if its too loud going straight through.

Sorry mite not of explained that very well...! The NEW Akrapovič (with the swirl pipe)! isn't road legal bcos it's stamped "not for road use"! The two brothers IS road legal. Neither of them have made it to uk soil yet

I have no problem with the "old Akrapovič", it sounds awesome, I just want something that not everyone has got. I am a tackle tart lol. I like to be different lol

I knew about the new Akrapovič, just wasn't sure about Two Bros as someone in the thread I started said that it wasn't not road legal. It looks doubly tempting if it is!

Are you not getting the new Akra then any more? I thought you had it ordered already.

Yes the Two Bros is legal as in it hasn't got "not for road use" stamped on it. No cat but who cares lol. Comes with a choice of DB killers, choice of end cap colour. The joy about having a mate who owns a Yamaha/Suzuki dealership means if we order something we can send it back if we don't need it lol. Hence I didn't carry on with the order for the new 3-1 race Akrapovič. Gonna sell my MT-09 Akrapovič and put the Two Brothers zorst on lol

I picked the akra because warranty issues and it would be my luck to get stopped with a non road legal, the official akra sounds awesome anyway.
