tyre pressures


Damn, look at those forks dive and rebound, bugger all damping going on there.

Last track day I did was at Donington park and the official tyre supplier advised to leave the front pressure alone but dropped the rear by about 10% to about 36psi

It was a very hot day and the tyre was only good for four fast laps in each session.
To be fair they are cheap touring tyres on the VFR

Tried it out today. Found it made the front end unstable when accelerating out of turns or overtaking. Now back to 42R 36F more to my liking. Each to their own :)

Personally I find 36-42 spot on. Feel so in control of the bike and get great feedback from the tyres.....this is me for road riding, for a track then will probably drop the rear pressure a little.
