I've spent a good part of the day with my lad on the back of the bike. It's what B mode is really for, smooth take offs, no jerking and 52mpg

B mode's good for city riding and wet riding. E.g. when you're coming back from work, tired, have to filter much then I flick it in B mode. Otherwise I'm only using STD now.
But otherwise true, it's Bollocks mode

I hear Chuck Norris has already got the new Akrapovic with the loop, disproving the theory that loops are gay. They can't be if chuck Norris has got one.

Although I used to dick around without a license I still remember the pride and excitement when I passed my CBT- next step was my test and then it was freedom and all the "clunge" I could handle (that's what I thought anyway the reality was a little different!!)

Can someone explain to me what STD mode is for?
I use B if i'm in heavy traffic or the roads are greasy and A the rest of the time.
I just don't see the point of STD. I tried using it for a while today (100 mile ride) but then stuck it back in A. I just don't get it.

Can't help you spot on that one. What I wish it would do is leave the last loaded mode active when I turn the ignition off and come to restart it. PIA having to scroll through everytime you get on the bike.
