What is it?


clutch u bracet is used for when you adjust the clutch tension by turning the nut. when it goes round full 360 the u bracet clics the nut to confirm one full rotation.
 
I thought that the U bracket next to the clutch was basically just to hold the tension "dial" in place. so each of those teeth are essentially a different setting. That bracket just makes sure it doesn't change.
 
The crankcase boss is for the assembly line engine cradle. A pin is inserted through those and the rear lower bosses. They may also do double duty later if Yamaha decides to offer us an Adventure version with a skid pan.

OK thanks that is what I was assuming something during manufacturing.
