Wireing heated grips.

My dealer fitted my heated grips onto MT09 Tracer, but a friend wants to wire his after market grips the same way.
Question is there and where is the controller to wire grips into so that they will work through the computer menue.

Any help please?

Me thinks you could just wire any grips into there!

Robin, thanks for asking the questions. I measured the resistance of my R&G grips they're 400 ohms each. I was wondering where the fuse was for the OEM grips and what they're rating was ? If the grips are in series or parallel?

As to any technical questions I have to pass. Not sure where that fuse is. Look it up in the manual. I should think grips will be in parallel so as to get full heat to both grips. Other wise they'd only get 6v each.
