Pyramid Plastics Fender Extender


Not much to look at, but they do the job.

I ordered one too from eBay, not arrived yet though. The seller had sold about 15 in a few days, pretty sure that all those buyers are on here!

My wife's gonna kill me when she see's all these extras arrive!

is it just held on with tape or rivited on? If tape, do you think it will stay on when soaking wet, and weighed down with mud and road crud?



Tape is for locating only, you have to drill and rivit the extender, four push-fit plastic ones inluded. I ignored the instructions and used three as I've fitted loads of these on previous bikes with just three and they never fell off. No point drilling extra holes for the sake of it.
 
For a change i actually followed the instructions and removed the mudguard to fit the extender, me a drill and front tyre in close proximity would have ended in tears !

If that had of ended in tears I'm guessin u wud of felt a tad deflated lol.

Just fitted my extender today. Done in about 10mins including getting fender off, fitting extender and refitting fender.
Easy!

10 mins mr. twos... i find that unlikely ! took me 2 days , and i have access to several large hammers and am renowned (cool) for my mechanical wizardry :p

Haha I used proper tools. Blowtorch and Stanley knife

Really though it was genuinely only about 10 mins 15 max.
I was all set up for a good hours worth of swearing so was a bit disappointed

Apologies for resurrecting this thread but Ive just glues on the Pyramid Plastics Rear Hugger (?)
It may keep some crap outa the seat release lock but outside off that ...........................photo 1.webp
