is it just held on with tape or rivited on? If tape, do you think it will stay on when soaking wet, and weighed down with mud and road crud?
For a change i actually followed the instructions and removed the mudguard to fit the extender, me a drill and front tyre in close proximity would have ended in tears !
Just fitted my extender today. Done in about 10mins including getting fender off, fitting extender and refitting fender.
Easy!

Haha I used proper tools. Blowtorch and Stanley knife
Really though it was genuinely only about 10 mins 15 max.
