rust

Hi all
I have had my tracer for just 18months and love the bike. I have noticed rust on the bracket that hold the screen and headlamp adjusters. Also rust on the bracket that holds the rear brake fluid pot and bracket that holds the number plate. Am I doing something wrong? Is anybody else having this problem? Should it be covered by warranty.

I've had my MT09 since october and ridden it through 3 winters, as well as in all weathers. No rust on mine, but I do clean it regularly, use ACF50, and keep it garaged.

Great stuff , I use it after every clean .

Never bother. Ride it after cleaning it to dry the water off, but then I don't ride when the salt is down.

Do what I do after washing and drying go over it again with a garden leaf blower. You will be amazed how much water you can blow out of the places you cannot get to.
